POPULAR AREAS TO ADD A BARN DOOR IN YOUR HOME:
The most popular place for a barn door is the awkward master bathroom/bedroom opening where there is either no door separating the two or a very narrow door space that makes traffic between the rooms less than ideal. People also love to add a barn door in the master bedroom to create privacy, keep things quiet, and block out light if one person is awake earlier in the morning. Other popular areas to add a sliding barn door in the home are kitchen pantries, offices, storage rooms, etc. We’ve even had people create barn door “walls” to create another bedroom space to help with resale value!
BENEFITS OF THE BARN DOOR:
- Space Saver – Sliding doors are most popular for their ability to save space in the home or office setting. There is no longer a door arc and as a result, it uses less space. Barn doors simply slide along a track rather than swinging open and closed.
- Environmentally Friendly – We use real wood to construct our barn doors; hence, a durable, naturally renewable, and most of all an eco-friendly resource.
- Style – In addition to the ability to incorporate barn doors well with most architectural styles, they are also pleasing to the eye and extremely functional!
There are endless possibilities! Choose from a wide range of styles, stain colors, hardware, and more. If you don’t see what you want, clients even draw up their dream barn door design and we turn it into a reality. Custom sized doors are our thing! Many customers choose us because of our ability to create large custom barn doors. Whether it’s large barn doors or small barn doors, we got you covered. We offer a wide variety of hardware and door handle options including different finishes and styles to meet your design goals. If you have a particular paint, stain, or wood species preference we would be happy to accommodate that as well!
