Modern Barn Door – Sliding 2 Panel

  • This door is fully customizable
  • Barn door hardware is available
  • Made in North Kansas City, MO
  • Estimated lead time 6-10 weeks plus 3-5 days transit freight (local Kansas City area delivery/installation is available)
  • Door Pictured is Painted Pure White, 1 3/4″ thick

Tip: We recommend building the door(s) 3 inches wider than the width of your door opening (including all trim/molding).
If you select bypass hardware, we recommend the doors combined widths be 6-8″ wider than your door opening including trim to account for the overlap between the 2 doors.

Tip: It’s best to have your door 1 inch taller than the height of your door opening (including any trim/molding).

We will help determine the best size by doubling the door(s) width to = track length. Please comment below in “order notes” if you have a custom track length request.

A header board is required if Walston Door Company is installing your door. It must be twice the width of the door (for example, if you order a 40″ wide door, the header board must be 80″ long) or for a custom track length it must be the same length as the track, x 5″ tall x 3/4″ thick.

Prevents door from slamming on both ends of track. *Not compatible with bypass hardware.*

Benefits of the Barn Door:

  • Space Saver – Sliding doors are most popular for their ability to save space in the home or office setting.  There is no longer a door arc, as a result, it uses less space.  Barn doors simply slide along a track rather than swinging open and closed.
  • Environmentally Friendly – We use real wood to construct our barn doors; hence, a durable, naturally renewable, and most of all an eco-friendly resource.
  • Style – In addition to the ability to incorporate barn doors well with most architectural styles, they are also pleasing to the eye and extremely functional.
